Getting A Domain

To get a dot com website (eg. www.yoursite.com) you need to buy the domain name. You can purchase either a .com, .net, .org ect. For around $20 aus. The name is yours for a year, then you need to renew it by buying it again. You can check availability of names at www.nameport.com.au and purchase from www.godaddy.com

Then, you need hosting which you can pay monthly, half yearly or yearly. My host is www.godaddy.com and I recommend it, although check out my resource guide for more hosts.

So you need to be up for paying hosting to have a domain website. =]
